As the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays approach, in order to effectively strengthen pre-holiday risk prevention and control in production safety, firmly enforce fire safety responsibilities across all employees, and continuously reinforce the company’s intrinsic safety foundation, Anhui Guruite New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. organized a specialized fire safety training session for all staff on September 23. The training featured instructor Xu, a seasoned professional in fire safety, who employed a multi-dimensional teaching approach combining vivid visuals, case‑study videos, and hands‑on practical exercises. Balancing targeted pre‑holiday precautions with ongoing daily safety capacity building, the program comprehensively enhanced employees’ fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities.
During the training, Instructor Xu drew on typical domestic fire incidents, using on-site videos and real‑world photographs alongside in-depth analyses of their causes to vividly illustrate the suddenness and severity of fires, thereby underscoring the core principle that “hidden hazards are more dangerous than open flames, and prevention is better than disaster relief.” The session addressed safety needs across all settings—factory workshops, office spaces, and residential areas—systematically covering key topics such as hazard identification, proper use of fire and electricity, initial fire suppression, and evacuation procedures. It also reiterated the fire safety responsibilities of each role and encouraged all employees to firmly establish a strong awareness of safety red lines.
To enhance the training’s effectiveness and emphasize hands-on application, this session was equipped with commonly used fire‑extinguishing devices as tangible teaching aids, seamlessly integrating theoretical instruction with live demonstrations. Instructor Xu systematically explained the appropriate applications, structural principles, operating procedures, and routine maintenance of standard firefighting equipment such as dry‑powder extinguishers, demonstrated the standardized “lift, pull, grip, press” extinguishing technique, and highlighted common operational pitfalls and safety precautions. Through immersive learning, participating employees further strengthened their practical firefighting skills, significantly improving their ability to respond effectively to initial-stage fires.
